We welcome new students, whether you are new to yoga,  or an experienced practitioner. If you have never practiced before, we recommend our restorative classes on Thursday evenings or Sunday mornings.

Props and Gear: We utilize blocks and yoga straps, although they are not required. Props are used not as training wheels, but to help you get the most out of your practice.

Bring to class: water, a small towel, and your mat if you have one.

What to wear: comfortable clothes that allow a full range of motion. Consider a close-fitting shirt, or a shirt that can be tucked in. Loose shirts float up on forward bends and get in the way of your practice. Finally, we practice in bare feet, so leave your socks and shoes in a cubby with the rest of your belongings.
